The creator of Minecraft took to Twitter yesterday to address the free-to-play style of monetization and comments from another game develop, George Broussard, who made Duke Nukem 3D among other titles. The whole thing escalated quickly and actually started to get a little heated it seems.

NetMarble has released an update today for their rather popular Marvel Future Fight game on Android. This update brings with it one of the smallest superheroes to ever exist, and that would be Ant-Man. This is the second Marvel themed game to get Ant-Man announced for it, the first one being Zen Pinball which will be getting an Ant-Man pinball table next week.
Interesting news today regarding Gameloft who, up until now, seemed to be doing quite good in regards to making money with their mobile games. Apparently it isn’t as good as originally thought, unless there is some other reason for laying off employees and shutting an entire office space in New York.
Set for release on next week onto Android, Forest Home is a new puzzle game from The Binary Hill (the devs behind Mini Motor Racing, and other games). In this game, players are looking to guide cutesy, woodland animals back to their homes. The forest is broken up into levels that are on a map, and players will also need to strive for a three stars rating on each level. You can also show off your results on your social media accounts.
NGames has launched a new MMORPG onto Android called Exiled Gods for select regions in a sort of a soft launch. This is one of those games that we have started to label as a collectible MMORPG, meaning that this game has a multitude of heroes a player can collect and swap them in and out of their current group.
Gameflip is a mobile marketplace that has just launched which allows gamers to buy and sell games, whether new or used, as well as collectibles and gaming accessories. Pretty much every console has their own section for buying and selling games, ranging from Xbox One and Playstation 4 to old school GameCube titles.
[Update: Released] Heroes Reborn TV show will soon be getting its own mobile and PC/console games
Another TV show will be getting its own game as well soon, this time it being NBC’s Heroes Reborn series. Imperative Entertainment announced today two new Heroes Reborn games that are being worked on – Heroes Reborn: Gemini and Heroes Reborn: Enigma. Depending on what platform you want to play this one, you will either be playing Heroes Reborn: Gemini on your PC/console of choice, or Heroes Reborn: Enigma on your Android phone or tablet.
Malware is nothing new for Android users to deal with, and mobile users in general for that matter. In fact all platforms have their issues with Malware. While the company recently went into a bit more detail on how they are thinking of monetizing their upcoming mobile games, they didn’t touch on what games, what genres, or how many at that time.
