The spin-off of the Angry Birds franchise featuring the pigs is nearing it’s slated release date of September 27th, 2012 and while we do know a few things about the game, there hasn’t been any real gameplay footage or screenshots released for Bad Piggies. Well now we can actually see how the game will play out thanks to a new video showing the new game off.

Sometimes, if you’re good enough at it, you can notice tendencies with devs towards releasing a certain type of games. This last months’ tide has leveled toward Continuous Runners, and we’ve seen the release of big soon-to-be hits like Vector Unit’s Beach Buggy Blitz and Glu’s Mutant Roadkill, among others of the genre. Com2uS are giving us their version of the facts with their newest game, Zombie Runaway UP.
Way back near the end of last year, we talked about a Facebook FPS game from Cmune which would eventually be making its way to Android and iOS devices as well. Their game, called UberStrike, is a rather popular FPS game where players battle it out against each other across various maps, your typical multiplayer FPS game in theme.
You may or may not remember the original iControlPad game controller which, originally, was designed for iOS devices before branching out and becoming available to Android devices as well. While the idea was great, there was a bit of an issue in terms of design since it used clasps to help attach itself to whatever phone you are using. Considering the huge range of device sizes Android has, you can see how this could be a problem. Well the iControlPad 2 looks to fix this by being completely bluetooth enabled minus the clasps.
A new puzzle game has arrived onto Google Play and if you are a fan of Rubik’s Cube then you’ll probably dig Time Cube 3D. The best way to explain this game is that it is basically a sort of inverted Rubik’s Cube that you’ll need to figure out. Just to make things a bit more challenging though, you have a set time limit to figure it all out.
Minecraft has invaded yet another platform, once again in the mobile landscape of things as now Minecraft: Pocket Edition is available through the Amazon AppStore for those of you who own a Kindle Fire or one of the new Kindle Fire HD tablets. No more needing to root and side-load the game onto your Kindle Fire and hoping that it works out.
One game we are rather looking forward to is actually a MOBA game coming from Gameloft that is based off of their MMORPG Order and Chaos. Officially names Heroes of Order & Chaos, this is the first time the MOBA genre has really come to mobile, at least in a full-sized game.
When a game is released onto Google Play a lot of people check the permissions of the game to make sure it is legit and doesn’t pose any sort of security risk. A new official Hello Kitty game by Gamezen has just been released and whether or not this game is the best thing since sliced bread, reading the permissions list is like reading a manual into how not to release a game with a plethora of unneeded permissions.
The classic puzzle game that seems to somehow manage to survive after all this time, Tetris, is now available on the Amazon AppStore for free for today only as Amazon’s free app of the day. While we are pretty sure everyone on the planet knows what Tetris is, and probably owns a copy of the game in one form or another, if you happen to have access to the Amazon AppStore, you can grab a copy of it today for free.
Classic dungeon crawling game fans may want to start getting excited as a classic title from 1982 could be making its way to Android devices thanks to a new Kickstarter campaign. The new campaign is for developing and releasing a completely re-imaged version of the classic game Sword of Fargoal for multiple platforms, one of which will be Android if their stretch goal is achieved.
