Back in early December of last year we reported on Mediocre Games’ next title that they are working on called Smash Hit. Before now the company has focused pretty much solely on their physics-based puzzle games that they are quite good at making. Smash Hit is something a little more ‘outside the box’ for Mediocre Games.

Mojo Bones launched their game called The Curse back in 2012 which ended up becoming rather popular. Since then the company has released a few other games but were working on a sequel to The Curse behind the scenes. Well this sequel has now been officially announced, called The Voyage, and will be arriving onto Android sometime in April 2014.
Vexia is at Mobile World Congress 2014 showing off a rather unique product that is an Android phone and tablet in one unit but this isn’t a phablet. Instead it is actually a tablet that also has a small phone unit that comes along with it, allowing you to have the functionality that comes with a 7″ tablet but the ability to also make calls and other functions that require a phone.
Nvidia has announced that they have brought LTE to their Tegra NOTE tablet family in the form of a new one called the Nvidia Tegra NOTE 7 LTE. This new version of the company’s tablet isn’t a whole lot different from the regular Tegra NOTE 7 device aside from the one major addition of LTE support.

Mobile World Congress 2014 is now underway and like always we can expect a ton of new Android phones and tablets to be announced during the event from just about every manufacturer that is out there. Qualcomm has announced a few new chips that they will be launching with one being an improved version of their 800 series while the other two announced chips are the new 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 610 and the new octa-core Snapdragon 615 chip.
Crescent Moon Games has brought their recently released iOS game Optical Inquisitor over to Android today. This game has already done quite well for itself already on iOS, hitting the top 10 in most countries and even #1 in a few places. This hit retro-style sniper game is now available on Android as well.
Google has revealed what their next project is that they are working on and it is called Project Tango. Usually we don’t report on these kinds of things unless there is some sort of benefit to gaming on Android and with Project Tango there could be a pretty interesting benefit in some way to exactly that.
We’ve had Batman, Angry Birds and even Hello Kitty as cross-over events with GungHo Entertainment’s popular Puzzle & Dragons game. The newest one is a cross-over with Evangelion the anime, since there’s no official Evangelion game for Android, at least not yet.
Fans of the actual Nascar racing circuit can now run their own racing team with Eutechnyx Limited’s new game Nascar Manager. Just as the title suggests, you’ll be managing most aspects of your own Nascar racing team on a variety of different official Nascar tracks.

Crescent Moon Games has announced what their next title to publish on Android will be Demonrock: War of Ages. This new game is a reverse defense title with dungeon crawling mechanics on top of it and some pretty solid 3D visuals as well.
