Pikmin Bloom is celebrating its 4th Anniversary next month, so Niantic has planned a bunch of new missions. And there are the new Ice Pikmin making their debut with a frostiness, giving you a ‘cool’ new reason to head outdoors.

Let’s talk about Ice first

Starting November 1st, Ice Pikmin will officially begin appearing in the game. You can find them by collecting blue seedlings, but only from Restaurant and Roadside locations for now.

Once grown and befriended, they’ll transform into Chef Hat Decor Pikmin for Restaurant spots and Sticker or Coin Decor Pikmin for Roadside ones. There’s also a rare Decor variation for all Coin Decor Pikmin.

Everyone will receive a simple mission to walk 100 steps, which rewards a seedling to hatch your first Ice Pikmin. After that, two more missions unlock, one at 2,000 steps and another at 3,000. Completing them will earn you themed items for your Mii, including an Ice Pikmin Beanie and an Ice Pikmin Printed T-shirt.

Pikmin Bloom 4th anniversary missions

The 4th Anniversary Flower Box celebration brings a new monthly Decor for Ice Pikmin for the first time. The 4th Anniversary Flower Box Decor Pikmin will headline the event. Past favourites like the 3rd Anniversary Cupcake and the Puzzle: Autumn Memories 2021 Decor Pikmin are also returning.

You can also take on Event Challenge missions to earn random rewards, including Bright Flowers, seedlings for 4th Anniversary Flower Box Decor Pikmin, and flower petals. And when the Big Flower at the stage’s centre blooms, a Gold Seedling is guaranteed in addition to random drops.

Come November, Pikmin Bloom will be full of festivities. So, get the game from the Google Play Store. Or you can head over to the official anniversary page for more info on the new missions.
