May 2025 in Pokémon GO is looking like a pretty stacked month. There are a lot of things that are going to happen in the month. But the best of all is probably the return of Lake Trio. Yep, it’s returning in 5-Star Raids across a bunch of regions.
What Does Pokémon GO Have in Store for May 2025?
First off, Tapu Fini is kicking things off in Five-Star raids from May 1st to May 12th. It’s bringing the special move Nature’s Madness with it, plus a Shiny chance.
Then, starting May 12th, you’ll get a full Lake Trio tour depending on where you are. Uxie for Asia-Pacific, Mesprit if you’re in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or India, and Azelf if you’re over in the Americas or Greenland.
After the trio steps out of Pokémon GO, Tapu Bulu slides into raids from May 25th to June 3rd, 2025. It’s also flexing Nature’s Madness and a Shiny form.
If you’re into Mega Raids, May is giving you a solid lineup too. From May 1st to 12th, Mega Houndoom shows up.
After that, Mega Gyarados takes over from May 12th to 25th. It’s followed by Mega Altaria from May 25th to June 3rd.
And Here Are the Details of All the Events
Growing Up runs from May 2 to 7, while there’s a Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3rd. May 10th to 18th is Crown Clash, while May 10th and 11th are reserved for the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend.
Community Day is happening on May 11th too, but they’re keeping the featured Pokémon a secret for now. Crown Clash: Taken Over runs from May 14th to 18th, and Shadow Raid Day hits on May 17th.
