After a somewhat lengthy beta testing phase, followed by a full release onto iOS, Earthcore: Shattered Elements has finally been released onto Android devices now. While there are already plenty of these types of games for mobile devices, Earthcore falls into the category of a more serious CCG, similar to games like Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone.
Earthcore: Shattered Elements has already been enjoying a decent amount of success over on iOS. As you can probably tell from the title of this game, the five major elements play a major role in this card combat game: Fire burns Earth, Earth absorbs Water, Water extinguishes Fire, etc etc. Based on that logic, and the cards you have, players will be going up against one another with custom built decks to see who is the better skilled player.
While there are creature cards available, there’s also plenty of skill cards as well, all of which can be combined with one another for additional effects. Some skills include Maneuver, Direct Damage, Skill Theft, Element Change, and so on. Between using those skills and your creature cards, some of which have their own unique abilities as well, there is a lot of possible combinations and strategy available in this game.
There is also a Card Crafting system which allows players to collect materials and craft new cards. This is especially useful if you need a specific card to strengthen your deck. You’ll be able to craft it instead of trying to rely on luck with getting the card you need. According to the developers there is over 500,000+ unique card combinations available.
Multiplayer gameplay has a few different modes available as well. Players can partake in a quick match against friends, challenge other players in an attempt to steal their loot by defeating them, and there is an official league as well for ranked matches. There is PvE content available as well should you want to take a break from fighting other players all the time.
