Popular Xbox Live indie game Fez to arrive on new platforms this year

There is no guarantee that this will arrive on Android or anything like that but the developers of the popular Xbox Live indie game called Fez have revealed that the game will be making its way to multiple other platforms this year. A post by Polytron, the developers of Fez, they announce that they are working on bringing the game to multiple new platforms and that it was rather dumb of them to only release on Xbox Live.

For one, Fez will finally be ported to other platforms. Yes, I’ve heard you, dozens of people emailing me everyday telling me how much of an idiot I am for not porting Fez to everything. – Phil Fish, Polytron

Fez is an interesting little action platformer where you can rotate the screen in 90 degree chunks. When you do this, if two walkways line up, you are able to hop onto them and continue on with your journey. While you are doing this, you will also be treated to plenty of challenging puzzle and other items that you have to figure out in order to keep moving forward.

So what platforms will Fez be heading to in this new year? Well unfortunately Polytron didn’t specify any specific platforms in their post. It could come to mobile (Android and/or iOS) or it could go to Steam and PS3. It could go to all of them. Fez could certainly work on a mobile device with how the game plays out.
