Post-Apocalytic Adventure Far: Lone Sails is Coming to Android This Year

Far: Lone Sails, the atmospheric PC and console adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, is coming to Android later this year.

Originally conceived as a student project in 2015, Far: Lone Sails is a widely acclaimed title that sees you piloting an unusual vehicle through an endless wasteland. You view the action from the side, and the to aim is to keep your vehicle functioning and intact.

This involves moving from section to section, adding fuel to the boiler, pressing buttons, tinkering with the engine, repairing damage, putting out fires, and so on.

As you navigate the empty landscape you’ll collect upgrades, solve puzzles, and more.

Far: Lone Sails was nominated for a number of awards in 2017 and 2018, as well as having the distinction of nearly making Scottish comedian and video game streamer Limmy shed a tear.

The game has an expected release date of October 1st on iOS, but there’s nothing concrete for Android. You can pre-register for Far: Lone Sails here
