Tree of Savior: NEO is launching on mobile next week, and is offering some intriguing free gifts if you pre-register.
But first, the game itself. It’s a much anticipated spiritual successor to the Ragnarok Online series of titles, which were developed and created by Kim Hakkyu.
It’s a MMORPG that combines old school sensibilities with some pleasing new twists, while offering an experience that can appeal to everyone – whether they’re dedicated fans of the genre or not.
As you’d expect there’s a massive world for you to explore. It’s called Iolia, and has secrets hidden in every corner as well as stories to discover wherever you go.
That all sounds lovely, but there’s plenty here for more hardcore MMORPG players too. This includes many class customisations to experiment with as well as skill combos to master in combat. Then there’s a range of dungeon raids to battle through, with companion Catpals to give you much needed assistance.

Fishing and cooking are just a couple of the life classes to enjoy in the game, and you can also build your own dream home – called a Homestead here – to fill with whatever outfits you wish. Exploring the world can be a soothing experience as well, with a number of tame mounts to help you get around.
There’s clearly a lot of enthusiasm for the project from the development team too, with the game’s Producer saying that “”Tree of Savior: NEO is a love letter to fans of classic MMORPGs and newcomers alike. “We’ve poured our passion into creating a world where adventure and serenity coexist.”
