Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is now out on Android. Created by Ubisoft, it initially launched on PC in January 2024. A metroidvania action game, you play as Sargon, a young warrior who is part of the Immortals.

Here’s the Story

Queen Thomyris sends you and the squad to rescue her son, Prince Ghassan. That quest takes you to Mount Qaf, which used to be a divine city but is now a mess full of time-warped creatures and cursed terrain.

Mount Qaf is a single mountain in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown but it’s full of variety. There’s a ruined temple, a forgotten desert and more areas. Though huge, the map is interconnected and even lets you take a photo of your surroundings.

The game lets you drop a shadow and teleport back to it whenever you want. It’s stuff like this that makes the platforming and combat super dynamic. There are also amulets hidden around the map that let you tweak Sargon’s abilities.

Sargon has ultimate moves called Athra Surges which are a great way to end a fight. Also, some quests add to the backstory of Mount Qaf and offer plenty of collectibles and challenges. Watch the trailer for the game below.
