DogByte Games has announced that their next game will be a 3D racing title called Redline Rush. This particular racing game is more along the lines of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit type of racing and not of the racing track or city streets type where you’re just competing with other racers.
Your goal in this game is to be the fastest car in each race, pretty much like any other race game. You’ll have to deal with traffic and other racers as well as the cops should you get on their radar. Think of this game as BogByte Games’ take on the Burnout franchise.
When the game does launch there will be 16 cars and three different track to race dangerously on. As for if there will be additional track in future updates, that remains to be seen. You can check out the game in action in the trailer above. Right now Redline Rush has a May 2013 release time.
