Rovio has been teasing that their Facebook game Angry Birds Friends would be arriving onto Android and iOS today and sure enough the game is now available on Google Play for those of you who want to get a little more competitive with your bird flinging skills. As we explained in our last article about Angry Birds Friends, this version of the original game pretty much plays out just like the original game but with the addition of a few social features.
These social feature add a slightly more competitive edge to the original game since players can go head-to-head with friends in a challenge to see who can get the higher score. There also happens to be weekly tournaments held where the winners receive prizes. You can also brag about how awesome you are at throwing birds through Facebook and Twitter in-game.

While the game itself is pretty much identical to the Facebook version, mobile players do get an additional exclusive power-up that Facebook players do not have access to. So if you’re up for some competitive Angry Birds gaming, you can pick up Angry Birds Friends off of Google Play for free.
