RuneScape just dropped a Dev’s Diary for April with all the scoop related to the latest update, Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly. It’s a fresh quest dropping today and running until April 28th. You have to survive the Shifting Tombs and change the desert’s fate with Leela and Ozan by your side.
Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape
Things are getting more intense in the Kharidian desert while Menaphos is in chaos. After Osman decides to pull the ultimate betrayal move on his own people, the city is crumbling from the inside.
People are divided, Amascut’s presence is creeping through the shadows and it’s all looking pretty bad. And escaping the Shifting Tombs is just the beginning of the upcoming dangers.
You won’t be going solo though. Leela is in action and there are some new allies too, including a few pets. Together, you’ll dig into the ancient secrets of Menaphos and try to uncover whatever Osman is really up to.
Heading Back into the Heat Again
If you manage to complete Pharaoh’s Folly, RuneScape has some solid rewards for you. There’s Thieving and Agility XP, the title The Rabble-Rouser and a new bracelet called Leela’s Favour.
The last reward lets you teleport around all the districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs and all active soul obelisks.
The Return to the Desert: Pharaoh’s Folly quest isn’t just for anyone wandering out of Lumbridge. You’ll need Slayer level 87, have finished the first quest Beneath Scabaras’ Sands and ticked off various things from the Do No Evil quest inside Phite Club.
Also, don’t forget to build up the right structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Only then can you meet Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and try to pull the city back from the edge. So, if you meet all the criteria listed above, grab the game from the Google Play Store and Return to the Desert!
