Sega’s Sonic 4 Episode 2 smashes onto the Google Play store for Tegra 3 devices

By now you know Sega’s newest addition to the Sonic 4 series, and possibly the last one as well, Sonic 4 Episode 2 is on its way today for Tegra 3 Android devices. Well it looks like it has finally arrived in all is fast-paced platformer adventure gaming glory.

Sega has really tried to bring the full PS3 / Xbox360 experience to Tegra 3 devices. The visual effects are amazing on Sonic 4 from the lighting to certain objects on the screen that you will see with only Tegra 3 devices. To date this is probably the best addition to the series for Android and it is unfortunate that Sega has no plans to make a third episode for any platform. You can play the game using just your Tegra 3 device or pair it up with any gamepad that is compatible with Android.

Sonic 4 Episode 2 will have a lot of co-op gameplay between Sonic and his best pal Tails. You will also be able to have both of them team up together for special moves that you will need to utilize if you plan to get through the game. Tails can also be used in a few ways to save your ass should you happen to fall into a pit or need to jump super high.

If you are a loyal Sonic fan, then this is truly a must have and you must have the full experience on a Tegra 3 device. For those of you who don’t have a Tegra 3 device, you will have to wait a bit longer to get the blue hedgehog’s newest game onto your device to play. You can download Sonic 4 Episode 2 off of the Google Play store for $6.99.
