Netmarble is bringing back one of its most popular mobile RPGs with a new spin. It’s Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, for which they’ve opened global pre-registration as well. They’ve also given us a first look at the game’s updated world.
The original Seven Knights came out in October 2015. It was quite popular initially due to its bright visuals and the thrill of building a dream team out of 500-plus unique characters. So, what’s different in the upcoming version? Keep reading to find out.
It Has Been Revamped
With Re:BIRTH, Netmarble is keeping the best parts of the original game intact. You’ll see the familiar characters, the core combat systems, and the overall story. But they’re updating everything else to match modern settings. There’s a new visual style, smoother gameplay features and new mechanics.
The gameplay sticks with the turn-based style the series is known for (with a few tweaks). You can now set your formation and skill order beforehand, then let the battle play out automatically.
Skills like Lunar Slash and Meteor Wrecker are getting a full cinematic treatment. Meanwhile, the Hero Story mode adds new scenes and artwork for longtime favourites.
The game leans hard into its collectible side. You can farm Rubies by playing regularly, which you then use for Summons. So, you won’t be constantly forced into spending if you want to build a strong team.
Seven Knights Re:BIRTH Opens Global Pre-Registration
The game already launched in Korea on May 15, 2025. Globally, it’s expected to land on mobile in September 2025. Now, there are some decent perks for pre-registering.
Signing up on the official website gets you two powerful Legendary Heroes, who are Rachel from the Seven Knights and Ace from the Four Lords. You also get 10 Hero Summon Vouchers, 2 million Gold, and 10 Key Bundles.
And if you pre-register through the Google Play Store, you’ll get a Vanguard Set. Also, you’ll grab a bonus package with a 5-star pet named Croa, a Skill Enhancement Stone, Golds, and Topaz.
