Cygames is quite busy dropping games on Android. Their most-awaited release of the year (for global audience), Umamusume: Pretty Derby, is 10 days away. Meanwhile, another popular game of theirs has just landed on Android. It’s Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond.

Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond Is the Brand-New Shadowverse CCG

The new game brings a fresh chapter to the long-running card game series. There are obviously some new features which still revolve around strategy-driven card battles. You assemble decks, refine your tactics, and face off against opponents from around the globe.

So, what’s new this time? It’s the super-evolution mechanic. It takes the concept of unit cards, known as followers, and expands on it. Instead of evolving cards mid-match like in the previous entries, you can trigger super-evolution.

Once super-evolved, followers hit harder, take down enemy cards more easily, and go straight for the opposing leader. It’s like a more aggressive version of followers.

Apart from that, Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond introduces seven distinct classes. They range from aggressive rush types to slow-building control strategies. You get the freedom to customise decks and the ability to test these strategies in online PvP matches or in the new story mode. The story is voiced throughout and focuses on seven central characters.

Don’t Forget to Visit the Park

Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond also adds Shadowverse Park. It’s a social hub where you can interact outside of matches. You can dress up your avatars, use emotes, and connect with other players.

Now, every login grants a free card pack. If you love collecting, it will also help you with the new compendium feature. It lets you gather and organise your collection in one place.

So, grab Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond from the Google Play Store. It’s free to play.
