Snaky Cat has officially landed on Android, gliding its way from the studios of Appxplore (iCandy). It’s a unique take on the old-school snake game. But it’s not exactly a pixelated line munching on dots in this new version. Keep reading to find out what’s different.
Is It a Snake or a Cat?
In Snaky Cat, you get to control a dangerously long cat that devours doughnuts and smashes rivals into snack-sized bits. You’re in a real-time online PVP arena with other longcats who are battling for the sugary delights.
Gobble up as many doughnuts as possible to grow into an absolute noodle of a cat. You can then crash into your opponents before they do the same to you. If you manage to slink your way to the top, you get to claim some awesome rewards.
One fun thing about the game is what happens to you if you don’t win. If you stumble and fail or get crushed by an opponent, you’re reduced to a pile of doughnuts for the next hungry cat to feast on. The doughnuts even look like colourful rings sparkling in space.
You unlock over 50 different feline designs plus deck them out with ridiculous and adorable accessories. A tiny hat and sunglasses or say a dapper moustache. The more Cat Tokens you collect, the crazier your wardrobe gets.
Snaky Cat has a fun combo system, too. Slithering around and chaining the doughnut chomp sessions into massive combos skyrocket your score. Catch a glimpse of the game through the trailer below.
Snaky Cat Has Donut-Fuelled Battles
You can team up with a friend and play together forming a special fusion skin that combines both your cats into one hilariously long noodle. Work together to dominate the team combo ranks or just see who can hoard the most doughnuts.
There are also some Power Mice that dart around the arena to make it more challenging. Chase them down to snag buffs that give you an edge over the competition. There’s a permanent upgrade system, too, that lets you power up your cat with skill boosts that stick with you between matches.
Right now, with the launch, Appxplore (iCandy) is giving away 2000 Rubies and 30 Cat Tokens. Moreover, an exclusive Legendary Cat skin is also up for grabs. Check out the game on the Google Play Store.
