Seasun Games has dropped the latest update for Snowbreak: Containment Zone today, the Abyssal Dawn. There are new faces and tons of new events to dive into. So, let’s give you the full scoop so that you can try everything out.
The Abyssal Dawn Has Begun in Snowbreak: Containment Zone
Nerida – Styx Envoy is a new character with an assault rifle. Her Ultimate is awesome as it hangs out and deals damage even if she’s not on the field. Then there’s Nita – Pulse, who’s more about thermal damage and uses a shotgun. She’s built for skill-based play and has a scary new QTE mechanic.
There are also new outfits across the board. Nerida is rocking the Dawn’s Command, and Nita gets Sylvan Spirit. Nita also gets a Grove of Secrets bundle that includes an outfit, a weapon skin, and even an interactable scene.
Katya – Dawnwing gets a new look too with Classy Elegance, while Bubu – The Geomancer is ready for a checkup with Vitality Checkup. Fenny – Starshine shows up in Nitro Nova, and Yao – Winter Solstice gets Tidy Marksmaid. The latter is actually a bit of a make-good after her swimsuit outfit got censored earlier.
There are tons of events too!
For events, the one kicking off today is Pulse Puzzle. It’s a permanent event where you can unlock Nita early by following clues and solving in-game puzzles. It’s also tied to her backstory.
Then on April 28th, there’s Emotional Purge, running until May 29th, 2025. It’s the first time they’re bringing 3D cover shooter gameplay with cover vaulting and some slick motion effects.
Starting May 1st, there’s Nita’s Invitation, which is also permanent. It lets you unlock her maxed-out Auctus Drive, her full-on signature weapon, and a fixed-talent logistics squad for free.
