For all of you who are fans of the Deus Ex franchise and have been waiting eagerly for the announced Deus Ex game that Square Enix said was coming to Android, it looks like your wait will finally be ending lat some point today. Sqaure Enix has officially announced that Deus Ex: The Fall will be hitting Google Play today.

Update January 22nd, 2014 12:50pm PST: This game is now live on Google Play. We’ve added the appropriate links below.

It currently isn’t appearing on Google Play but since the official word has been sent out by Square Enix that it is being released today, it could appear at any time between now and this afternoon. It all depends on how long it takes to upload and propagate through the marketplace.

For those of you who have missed our previous articles about this game coming to Android, Dues Ex: The Fall runs in the same time period (2027) as the upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution game. Dues Ex: The Fall is a 3D Action-RPG in the first-person perspective with plenty of shooting and other abilities at your disposal, almost like Bioshock in some ways. This is a full-sized Deus Ex game and as such there are multiple ways to play the game, every action has a consequence and an almost open world style of gameplay where you can explore pretty much anywhere you want to.

While the game isn’t showing up on Google Play right now, we do have the link for it so you can sit there with your browser pressing F5 like a boss until it appears. As for how much it will cost, grabbing a copy of Deus Ex: The Fall will set you back $6.99. We will post an update when we finally see it appear on Google Play.
