Square Enix unleashes Drakerider finally onto Google Play

It’s Thursday and therefor it is time to start posting about the ridiculous amount of game releases that tends to happen on Thursdays. To start things off Square Enix has released Drakerider onto Android finally. We actually talked about this game back in February of this year as coming to Android and it has finally made its way here.

While the storyline of Drakerider isn’t 100% original in terms of what you have to accomplish, which is saving the world, there are some unique aspects to this game that makes it a little different than your typical ‘save the world’ kind of RPG and that is in its combat. When you enter into combat in this game, you don’t have commands to select or anything like that. Instead you have chains which you manipulate your drake to unleash attacks. You have to be careful though because giving too much leeway you could set your drake off on a not so healthy rampage.

Essentially you’ll need to find the right balance of holding back and giving leeway when in combat. So it is definitely a bit different in that regard. However, what is not different is the pricing. Square Enix has launched Drakerider onto Google Play for $14.73 in case you were considering picking it up.
