Sunflex dropping a new wireless controller for Android called the iDroid:con, no app needed

While the name is a bit odd, Sunflex will be releasing a new wireless controller designed specifically for mobile gaming on iOS and Android called the Snakebyte iDroid:con. We do get where the name comes from but it could have been better. Still, with that said, this controller is your typical PS3 style controller.

However, it does come with some unique features that most bluetooth wireless controller do not. For starters, you don’t need a companion application with this controller according to Sunflex. You can just open up your game and start playing pretty much right away with the iDroid:con. Secondly, this controller actually comes with three additional functions where it can act as a mouse, a keyboard or a mouse and keyboard controller.

However, this controller is only for Android devices running Android 3.2+ so the demographic of people being able to use this is fairly limited. You’ll need either a tablet or a Ice Cream Sandwich device basically. This controller should be pretty solid in quality as well considering Sunflex has been building controllers since 1997. The Snakebyte iDroid:con will be available for purchase for around 39,99€ (around $50).
