[Updated: Multiplayer Released] Table Tennis Touch will be getting a huge update on October 20th

Table Tennis Touch is a great game. The graphics are amazing, the game play is spot on and there is plenty of gaming to be had in a mobile title with such high-quality. If you have been enjoying the game as we have, then get ready. Table Tennis Touch is about to get a huge update, October 20th. Drum roll please!

Update: October 19th, 2015 10:07am PST: The big multiplayer update for Tablet Tennis Touch has arrived a day early and is now available for download off of Google Play. This should show as version 2.0 for anyone with this game installed. Enjoy!

When Table Tennis Touch was originally released onto mobile devices, one of the features the developers had promised was multiplayer. Well they didn’t forget about that promise and this update will bring that promise to life. After a lot of work making multiplayer a reality for Table Tennis Touch, it will finally be arriving. There is actually a few different flavors of multiplayer coming. There is the online multiplayer, and local multiplayer. The local multiplayer is actually quite neat because it is also cross-platform compatible, so as long as both players are on the save WiFi network, it doesn’t matter if one person is on iOS and the other is on Android.

On top of the new multiplayer modes, there is also a new multiplayer mini-game called Glass Table. This mini-game is actually based off of Half Table in Table Tennis Touch, but apparently a lot more challenging. Player Profiles have also been overhauled and expanded. Now players will be able to show off their Career stats and other information for other players to view through the new multiplayer modes.

Table Tennis Touch 2.0 Update Features:

– Local Multiplayer: Play device to device over Wi-Fi with your friends.
– iOS vs Android: As long as you’re on the same Wi-Fi, then you can play anyone with the game even if they’re on Android and you’re on iOS. Who says we can’t all get along? 🙂
– Online Multiplayer: Play online with friends or randoms around the world using Game Center or Play Games.
– New multiplayer mini-game: ‘Glass Table’ is a new two player take on Half Table. If you thought Half Table was stressful, you need to play this one.
– Brand new profile: We wanted a way for players to show off their Career stats in Multiplayer so we came up with Player Cards. As well as showing off your stats, they also feature a very lively Kuto mascot who waves your flag, supports you in multiplayer matches and grows as you progress in Career.

Last, but certainly not least, there are a bunch of smaller additions coming to the game, additional tweaks, new Bat skins, a new venue (Bounce ping pong bar), improved graphics and a lot more. Now that this update is complete and coming to both Android and iOS on October 20th, the developers have also mentioned that future updates will be much more frequent over the next few months now that the heavy lifting is done with multiplayer.

We will post an update once this update arrives for Table Tennis Touch. If you haven’t snagged a copy of this game, you can do so off of Google Play for $3.99, with no IAPs either. You can check out the multiplayer in action with the video above. Maybe we will start having Table Tennis Touch tournaments!
