Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, aka TABS, has finally landed on mobile in a Pocket Edition. After more than three years since it was first announced, the long-awaited version brings the same clumsy physics and unpredictable battles to mobile.
TABS Pocket Edition is as hilarious as its PC counterpart!
In TABS, you dive into a world where physics reigns supreme and wobblers are its residents. Wobblers are a bunch of wonderfully unstable warriors who stumble and flail their way through combat.
The units span every imaginable era, from the Stone Age’s cavemen and mammoths to medieval knights and beyond. TABS Pocket Edition comes with over 100 of these silly units.
You also get a unit creator that lets you cook up your own custom fighters. You can pit 100 skeletons against a single ape. Or maybe see how a mammoth fares against a phalanx of club-wielding goons.
Your side starts with a budget, and you must choose which units to place on the battlefield. Meanwhile, the opposing AI holds a slight technological edge over you.
Online multiplayer is available, so you can toss your wobblers into battle against real people, not just the game’s AI. The local and online matches are so fun and hilarious, especially when both players are experimenting with weird, over-the-top lineups.
There’s also a sandbox mode and campaigns to guide you through increasingly tricky battles across different historical periods. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game right here.
What’s different in this edition?
The mobile version doesn’t come with the map creator that’s available in the PC edition. It’s technically a simplified version of the original, but still crams in the humour, creativity, and absurdity.
TABS Pocket Edition is priced at $4.99 on Android. But it’s up for grabs with a 20% discount during the first two weeks of launch. So, get it from the Google Play Store right now.
