A couple of weeks ago we joined into the beta for a team-based RPG called Celestia: Broken Sky and streamed it on our Twitch channel. Since then the game has finished its beta testing and has been released onto Google Play for everyone to download and play. Celestia is a pretty interesting game with a timer-based style of combat.
Players will essentially be building up a group of heroes out of different ones they collect throughout their travels. There are plenty of different classes available as well as each hero having different elemental alignments. In fact there are variants of each hero that have different alignments. So you may have a fire aligned warrior and could find a water aligned variant of the same warrior later on. Each hero/class also have star rankings, with the more stars meaning the higher ranking/power.
Once you have built the group you current are able to build out of the heroes you currently have, you set off to complete different quests. Of course you can switch out different heroes after each stage. Once you enter a stage, combat is done with a progressive timer system. Each hero has two spells/abilities available, each with their own timer. Once the timer is full, you can cast that ability or you can continue to let the skill built up levels by letting the timer continue. Each skill having a max level of 5. The higher the level your spell is, the stronger the effect.

There is a few different game modes to play through, which can be the storyline, PvP, challenges and so on. Character can evolve by sacrificing other characters in your collection that you are not using. You can keep doing that until you max out the ones you want to keep using. This is also how leveling is done, instead of grinding for experience points. You can level you character by combining it with others, absorbing their power.
Celestia: Broken Sky is pretty good looking visually and makes for a pretty good time killer. This game can be downloaded off of Google Play for free and does contain optional IAPs as well for additional in-game currency.
