Tetris and Bejeweled style gaming gets combined in Gem Spinner II: Water Quest

Fans of Bejeweled or Tetris style games will have a new title to check out soon from developers Tiny Bite Games. Called Gem Spinner II: Water Quest, this game blends both gaming genres into one title and then wraps it all up in an adventure theme similar to that of Indiana Jones.

In Gem Spinner II you will have to drag, spin and swap blocks of gems around in order to match them up with similar gems in order to remove them from the board. The gem removal concept is something you should be used to if you play a lot of bejeweled-style games. The storyline is, as you may have guessed with the Indiana Jones reference, that you are searching to uncover gems and restore artifacts that are now broken and decaying.

Features:

  • Unique gameplay
  • Great graphics
  • Over 50 levels
  • 5 Locations

The gameplay is the same as the original Gem Spinner which is currently available on the Android Market in a free lite version and a paid full version should you want to get your hands dirty with this style of game before Gem Spinner II comes out. Speaking of release dates, when does this second installment into the Gem Spinner series land on Android? In a few days according to Tiny Bite Games. The iOS version just got released and they plan to launch the Android version as soon as possible over the next few days.
