The HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE is confirmed by Verizon

Verizon unsurprisingly revealed the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE today. This phone is one of the newest devices to take advantage of Verizon’s LTE network, and will be available in a few weeks time. Verizon didn’t give a specific release date or a price for the Incredible 4G LTE. We’d imagine this phone won’t be sold for under $199 on a two-year contract.

Despite its newness, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE isn’t really exciting. Its design reminds us of just about every other HTC phone before the One series. One exception to the hardware design of older HTC phones is the dropping of the capacitive menu button to adhere to the guidelines for Android 4.0. What you’re getting is a smartphone with specs that are up to date, but won’t blow anyone’s socks off.

HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE specs:

– Android 4.0
– HTC Sense 4
– 4-inch Super LCD qHD display
– 1.2 Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor
– 8 megapixel rear camera
– 1.2 megapixel front camera
– 1,700 mAh battery

This phone also has a NFC chip that can be used in conjunction with Google Wallet and other mobile payment services. HTC also threw in Beats audio and camera software features that made the HTC One X and One S so popular. So is anyone planning on nabbing one of these?
