The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden is teaming up with the popular Japanese anime series Shangri-La Frontier. This dream team event kicks off on March 21st, 2024, at 1 pm JST. The Eminence in Shadow x Shangri-La Frontier crossover will also mark the first collaboration with an anime series for the game.

The event runs till April 11th, 2024. It’s timed perfectly to start with the final episode of Shangri-La Frontier. You can log in between March 21st and April 11th to nab 4,000 Phantasm Gems and other goodies during The Eminence in Shadow x Shangri-La Frontier crossover.
Special appearances in the crossover include Sunraku, Arthur Pencilgon and OiKatzo. In case you don’t know, Shangri-La Frontier is set in the not-too-distant future when VR gaming is where it’s at and the old games are vintage. Now, in the crossover, a mysterious VR headset ties the knot between Sunraku’s and Shadow’s universes.

The Eminence in Shadow is an RPG by Crunchyroll ad developed by Team Caravan. It was released in November 2022 and has slick 3D anime art. Master of Garden game has a storyline that’ll keep any anime lover hooked. Get your hands on the game from the Google Play Store.
The Eminence in Shadow: Master of Garden is an auto-battler where you can line up a team of five units. It has a fantasy setting with characters that have plenty of personality. You’ll see it in the subtle things they do when idle and even in the way they sulk when they’re defeated.
On the other hand, Shangri-La Frontier first hit the web as a novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in May 2017. Then, it was adapted into a manga by Ryosuke Fuji starting in July 2020. In October 2023, it was adapted into an anime series by C2C.
Rakuro Hizutome, the protagonist, loves to dive into the messiest, buggiest games out there and goes by the gamer tag Sunraku. After feeling a bit wiped, he jumps into Shangri-La Frontier, the VR game with a whopping 30 million other players.
