The Sims is celebrating its 25th birthday, so Electronic Arts is dishing out massive gifts for players. From its roots as a SimCity spin-off to the storytelling game it is today, I’m sure every one of us has played The Sims at some point in our lives.
What’s The Sims Planning for Its 25th Birthday?
The Sims is celebrating its 25th Birthday with 25 days of gifts. Yep, 25 free gifts over 25 days. But you have to log in daily to claim them because each gift is only available for one day.
Running through the end of February 2025, EA is rolling out a massive 25th Birthday celebration across The Sims franchise. That means updates, rereleases, events and new content for you to dive into.
The Sims Mobile is also handing out two free gifts for anyone logging in during its birthday week, starting March 4th. EA has also teamed up with Spotify to create the ultimate Sims playlist which consists of the biggest hits that have appeared across Sims games.
It’s a Blast from the Plast!
The Sims FreePlay is bringing pure 2000s nostalgia. To celebrate 25 years of The Sims, FreePlay is loading up on content that will take you straight back to an era of chunky flip phones, frosted tips and velour tracksuits.
There are two new live events, The One with the Coffee Shop and Reality Island which are a blast from the past. The Social Town update adds new homes, a helicopter and an entire museum packed with FreePlay history to explore.
