Ubisoft’s Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes heading to Android soon

Big news out of left field coming from Ubisoft today as they have announced that their popular Nintendo DS (also available on consoles in HD) title, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, will be making it’s way to Android and iOS in the near future. On top of that, the game will apparently sport some new online features as well.

In Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, the story follows five characters named Anwen, Godric, Fiona, Aidan, and Nadia as they set off on a dangerous journey in order to stop some sort of demonic plot to take over the world. This particular segment of the Might and Magic storyline takes place 40 years before Heroes V . Of course your travels will be filled with both friend and foe who will help or hinder your quest with saving the world.

Combat is an interesting mix of puzzle solving in as few moves as possible. The less moves you use, the better your attack will be. As from the combat aspect, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes follows the standard RPG format of gaining experience after battles, leveling up and getting better gear to toughen you up for the end battle.

No word just yet on an exact release date or price for Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, only that it will be arriving in the ‘near future’. This version of the game will feature the HD visuals found on the XBLA/PSN version. Tag Games will be doing the porting for Ubisoft. Check out the trailer below to see the game in action.
