Upcoming Dead Trigger 2 game gets new screenshots, release date to be announced soon

Madfinger Games’ upcoming Dead Trigger 2 will have its official release date announced during the upcoming Tokyo Game Show which starts September 19th, 2013. The company plans to officially announced when this sequel will launch onto Android during the show and they have released a set of new screenshots and additional details to tide everyone over until then.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Dead Trigger franchise, the original game was a first-person zombie filled shooter with some pretty damn impressive visuals. Dead Trigger 2 will be expanding on the original game in just about every facet including bosses to kill (very big ones) and a very interesting game mechanic that means even though you’re doing single-players content, everyone has to work together with everyone else for the greater good of humanity and its survival.

Additional Dead Trigger 2 details:

– New NPCs who will accompany you during the game and a new Hide-out concept, two new features that will help you to enjoy the game even more.
– Enhanced graphic effects. You’ll be amazed at the Realistic Water Reflections, Dynamic Shadows, Dynamic Light Projectors and Dynamic Grass. DEAD TRIGGER 2 graphics also include Per-pixel Lighting and Advanced Ragdoll Physics.
– New locations. Join the global resistance, visit different locations and fight against local zombies in Shanghai, London or in the middle of the desert far away in Africa.
– A real time and never-ending story that will be affected by the behavior of every single player. Take part in the global Resistance and together with millions of other players, fight for a better world.
– Sinister new boss AI that promises to completely change gameplay. This means no more repetitive gameplay for you!
– A free to play game with no premium content or premium weapons. Everything is available to everyone! Find blueprints and build up new weapons and gadgets.
– Multi-platforms with one account. Dead Trigger 2 will be released for iOS and Android, as well as on Steam, Mac and Facebook.

Dead Trigger 2 will basically be a never ending game thanks to that new game mechanic. Another good feature is the ability to have single login so you can play on any platform with your one account.

When we hand some hands-on time with an early build of this game earlier in the year, it was pretty fun and really good looking back then. Since Madfinger Games plans to announce a release date shortly, it must mean the game is pretty close to finally being done. We will be sure to post an update when we find out when Dead Trigger 2 will launch. Until then, enjoy the new screenshots.
