Simos Games has been working on a full RTS game called Warlords RTS: Clash of Throne which has been in closed Alpha testing for the past little while. After a lot of work and improvements, the company has decided to finally launch an open beta for everyone who wants to try out this game and provide feedback on what can be improved.
Warlords RTS: Clash of Throne is a medieval themed RTS game where players control their hero as well as their troops, battling it out against enemy units. It’s sort of MOBA style gaming but with a more open map and defenses your opponents can build. You can also build defenses of course as well as overall camp upgrades to improve your stats as well as your troops.
Warlords RTS Final release plans:
– Publishing prototypes in order to get feedback, both yours and communities
– Polishing UX & UI
– Creating balanced levels, units and out of game economy for F2P monetization
– Adding new levels, magic and upgrades
– Adding 3 more Warlords (Dwarf, Wizard, Elf)
– Creating the interactive ingame tutorial & adaptive help
– Polishing graphics and sound.
– We’re also considering making multiplayer modes if either publisher or community show an interest
– iOS & Android platforms
While there is no current multiplayer modes in this game, the developers have stated that if there is enough interest that they will include multiplayer modes, most likely in a future update. Since this is an RTS game, we are sure there will be plenty of interest for multiplayer to be added since that is usually the meat of an RTS game.
If you’re up for testing out a game in beta before it’s officially release, you can download Warlords RTS: Clash of Thrones off of Google Play. Also please be aware that this game is optimized for tablets right now. No word on whether there will be a version for phones at some point in the future.
