You don’t have to pay for one of the most popular racing games on Android now. Well, although not entirely free, you can at least try it before buying the complete version. HandyGames has dropped a new Try & Buy Version of Wreckfest on Android.

Is Anything Different Wreckfest Try & Buy Version?

Technically, no. It lets you download the full game on your device and play it for a limited time. You get the same reckless racing game with the same modes and the same roster of cars.

So, let’s talk about the vehicle roster in the Wreckfest Try & Buy Version first. The cars are dented, rusted, and patched together. You get to choose from a variety, including American cars, European hatchbacks, and quirky Asian compacts.

There’s a local multiplayer mode, a challenge mode and a career mode. You compete in championships, earn experience, unlock new upgrades, and work your way to the top. You also get to choose everything, including vehicle assists and automatic/manual transmission.

Wreckfest has a soft-body damage modelling system. When your front left gets wrecked, your car starts pulling in that direction. Every crash, bump, or scrape has an actual impact on how your vehicle performs.

Will You Try It Now?

If you haven’t tried the game out, I think this is a great opportunity to try it out. Wreckfest’s full Windows version first dropped in June 2018 after a long early access run. It was developed by Bugbear Entertainment and published by THQ Nordic.

The mobile port arrived in November 2022. And now with the Try & Buy version, you can try out the wreckage of Wreckfest yourself. Check the new version out on the Google Play Store.
