Story Time Gets a Revamp!
Remember how we were all blown away by the epic story in the previous beta? Well, the developers listened to your feedback and made some significant changes! They’ve completely overhauled the in-game stories, removing parts that felt clunky and revamping character designs to match the new narrative. Plus, they’ve added a handy “Skip” function for those who want to focus on the action.
Combat Evolved!
The excellent combat system from the first beta is getting even better! The developers have fine-tuned the “Intro Skill – Outro Skill” combo, making it smoother and more satisfying. They’ve also added new Echo skills with special effects and countermeasures, plus three brand new Resonators (Jianxin, Lingyang, and Calcharo) to join the fight.
Echoes Remastered, those mysterious Echoes that granted you special abilities? They’re back and better than ever! The devs have made them easier to find and acquire, and they’ve introduced a new tag system that lets you mix and match their powers for more strategic gameplay. Watch for the rare “Illusive Echoes” – they’re rumored to have some pretty awesome hidden features!
Feast Your Eyes on Stunning Visuals!
The developers have worked magic to create a more polished and immersive experience. They’ve improved character models and special effects and even added weather phenomena like the Etheric Sea and Celestial Anomaly.
Remember how confusing Echoes were in the last beta? The developers have added a dedicated tutorial, making them more accessible to discover and obtain. Plus, they’ve introduced a tag-based system for more strategic Echo combinations and even some super rare “Illusive Echoes” to collect!
Limited-Time Events Add a Splash of Fun!
This time, you’ll experience exclusive in-game events like the “Depths of Illusive Realm” and the “Overdash Club” track challenge. These events will offer unique rewards and challenges, so dive in!
While the CBT2 is packed with awesome stuff, it’s important to remember that it’s still a development build.
