Kuro Games has dropped a new update for Wuthering Waves, called Unfading Melody of Life. There’s a new storyline, new characters, and more areas to explore. The main story continues with Chapter II Act VII, Dreamcatchers in the Secret Gardens, and the Overture quest Rust, Sword and the Sun.
Adding to the ever-expanding world of the post-cataclysmic sci-fi RPG
Alongside the questline, a new area called Fabricatorium of the Deep is now explorable. It lets you uncover lore and explore moody, mysterious environments.
Phrolova makes her debut in the update as a 5-Star Havoc Resonator. She’s the Overseer of the Fractsidus, with a rather dramatic style. There’s music, eye bandages, and summoning Hecate from a throne.
She builds up Volatile Notes to trigger her Resonance Liberation. Once she enters the Maestro state, she becomes immune to direct damage while Hecate takes the spotlight. Her arrival also refers to the upcoming Phase I and Phase II of the featured Resonator Convene: Requiem Without End, Stage in the Box, Neptune’s Lullaby, and Blaze Across the Deep.
The update also marks the return of Roccia in the Stage in the Box Convene. She’s a Havoc 5-Star Resonator and First Mate of the Fool’s Troupe. She’s also paired with her stage partner Pero during this update.
There’s a new Echo set in play
The Phantom Echo Nightmare Inferno Rider joins the Echo lineup. There are others, too, like Reminiscence: Fenrico, Nightmare: Hecate, Nightmare: Tambourinist, Nightmare: Galcio Predator, and Nightmare: Havoc Warrior.
Then there are some new gear, too. The Dream of the Lost Sonata Effect offers a Crit Rate boost and Echo Skill DMG bonus when you’re low on Resonance Energy.
As for the events, The Gifts of Grand Symphony 7-Day Login Event is live. There are also the Phantasma Dreamland Echo Dreamland Leisure Event and the Dreaming Deep Solaris Film Festival. Other events are the Overflowing Picture Book Leisure Event, the Deep Sea Survey Photo Collection Event, and a new Wuthering Exploration event set in the Border Mountains.
