Wuthering Waves has launched its Version 2.3 update, and it’s rolling out in four phases. The update coincides with the game’s first anniversary celebration as well as its Steam launch. Yes, the game is now available on PC.
Wuthering Waves Version 2.3 Is Called Fiery Arpeggio of Summer
There are new characters, story arcs, and event content in this update. If you have a decent Union Level, there are tons of things for you to dive into for the next month or so. The update goes live on April 29th and runs until June 12th, 2025.
The new storylines include A Blaze in the Dark and Your Summer Will Never Wither. Then, there’s a fresh wave of Phantom Echoes, including Crownless (and its Nightmare version), Nimbus Wraith, and a sneaky Chest Mimic.
The Gifts of Grand Celebration login event runs from May 23rd to June 11th and gets you Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance, as long as you’re at Union Level 8. Take a look at the update below.
There’s also Gifts of Grand Reunion (April 29th to June 11th) and Gifts of Melodic Verses (June 5th to June 19th). These log-in events give you Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and a bunch of upgrade materials.
There Are New and Old Minigames
Cubie Derby is making a return, both as a warm-up leisure event and as a spectator event where you can cheer for your favourite Cubes. You roll dice, move your Cube on a board, and scoop up rewards like Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate.
In the first phase, you can pull for Resonators like Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu. Alongside them, you can pull weapons like Dauntless Evernight, Overture and Hollow Mirage. That phase runs until June 11th.
