Gameplay: With a nice selection of game modes, I found the most enjoyable mode was called “Enter the Legend”. Within this mode, you get to create your own player even down to the colour of your boots. After all the editing you get to choose from a very small selection of teams you can play for. Once you’ve chosen your favourite team to play for, its your time to step up your game and represent your team. During each game you play, you will receive a grade which will change depending on how well you play, from stealing the ball to scoring goals.

After you have played a game, you will earn points depending on the grade you get from the game played. These points can upgrade all different kinds of your players statistics, which can mean the difference between scoring a goal or knocking your supports beers out there hands!

Controls: I found the controls as easy as it gets. You have your v-stick down on the left bottom corner and the other corner is used for 3 buttons that control the ability to pass, shoot and sprint. I did however have a problem with navigating the smaller menu’s. For example when you want to choose between your player info or your league info, the on screen buttons are pretty small and I found myself pressing the wrong button.

Another annoying point is that once you go deeper in the menu’s the back button in the bottom left corner changes to the exit button which I kept pressing when I only wanted to move back.

Graphics and Sound:The graphics have been upgraded from the previous release (Real Football/Soccer 2010). The players look very good, although the faces themselves aren’t that detailed, everything else seems to be of high quality. I did find a small annoyance when the game slowed down slightly all the players turned into low resolution sprites and they look terrible. Also a downfall is the crowd, they look like something from a SNES game.

The sound in the game is really enjoyable. The menu tracks are really good quality and the game even includes running commentary while playing a match. Although the running commentary isn’t all that in-depth, it really is a nice touch and takes us one step closer to console quality games.

Overall: As football games go, this is really up there with the best available for android. The big amount of game modes available will mean there is tons of hours to pack into this game. If your looking for a quick little game or you want to play a full season for your favourite club, this is the game for you. It has small set backs but there nothing next to the fun you have playing the game. Any football/soccer fan should give this a go.

As with all Gameloft games, you’ll have to head over to their store and buy it there.
