Well this is probably the biggest surprise we’ve had in quite some time. Facebook has purchased the virtual reality hardware maker Oculus Rift for $2 billion. You’re probably wondering why in the hell we are covering this. We are because the Oculus Rift was going to have Android compatibility in gaming and now we have no idea what future this has, if any at all.

Polarbit has had bit of a quite spell as of late in regards to releasing games onto Android. However it looks like that is finally changing with the release of a new game called Rail Racing. Of course it would be a racing game, it is one of the things that Polarbit does best right?
Back in February 2014 we talked about a new Warhammer 40K game heading to Android from developers Eutechnyx called Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance. While the actual game was slated for release tomorrow (this has changed), future plans for this title have been announced and what we can expect is plenty of DLC goodies to be heading our way in the near future.
Zen Studios announces four new Star Wars tables coming to Star Wars Pinball: Heroes Within soon
Zen Studios have announced four additional Star Wars themed pinball tables that will be heading to Star Wars pinball in the near future. These new tables are basically a new expansion to Star Wars Pinball called Star Wars Pinball: Heroes Within. Like previous tables, these new ones will highlight specific events from the actual movies.
Qualcomm has released a new video showing how Epic is bringing high-end game graphics to mobile with the newest iteration of their Unreal Engine. Even though this is basically a demo reel showing off some rendered landscapes made with Unreal Engine 4, they are still impressive, especially when you take into account that these environments are on a mobile device.
Back in 1999 the first version of the hack-n-slash RPG Darkstone was released onto PC and the Playstation. Now Anuman Interactive will be bringing that original game back to life, remaking it for mobile devices. Darkstone has been in development for awhile now and Anuman Interactive is now offering up a beta that people can sign-up and try to get into.
Dead Trigger 2 by Madfinger Games has received an update that brings a whole new way to earn money and kill zombies called the Arena of Death. This new feature will put players in an arena and you’ll have to survive for as long as you can with waves of zombies coming at you.
So the portable version of World of Tanks is finally going into closed beta testing, making it one step closer to release. Officially titled World of Tanks Blitz, this mobile version of the multiplayer tank combat game will have most of the features that the regular game including match with up to seven players on each team and over 100 tanks available to play as.
Nom Nom Games opens up third round of ”Alpha 1” public testing for their MMO game Monster Madness Online
Nom Nom Games, which is an indie-subsidiary of Trendy Entertainment (the folks behind Dungeon Defenders), has announced that they are launching a third round of public testing for the “Alpha 1” build of their MMO game Monster Madness Online. This particular game is an action RPG shooter MMO that will also feature cross-platform gameplay on iOS, Android, PC, MAC, Linux, Steam and web browsers.
Steve Jackson’s Sorcery! gamebooks have been around for quite some time, originally debuting in 1983. These books were like a sub-series of the Fighting Fantasy franchise and while Tin Man Games is delivering those titles to us, indie game developers Inkle will be bringing the Sorcery! series to us next month.
