We’ve covered the 0.6.0 Minecraft: Pocket Edition update fairly extensively already in a few posts over the past couple of weeks. Well for those of you who have been eagerly waiting for the update to go live on Google Play, your wait has finally ended and you can now download the update so you can start playing with baby animals.
During CES 2013 nVidia’s revealed their Project Shield handheld gaming console that is running Android. Also during CES 2013 nVidia’s next chipset called Tegra 4 was also announced along with a quick glimpse at a selection of games that would be arriving for Tegra 4 devices. One such title in that list was Bohemia Interactive’s Arma Tactics game.
Today we cover a couple of cool game, one where you can eat my dust and the other where you are turned into space dust (if you are not careful). Both have great graphics and quite enjoyable.
Dungeon Quest is a new Loot-based Action-RPG released by Shinny Box Games. This is a Beta release and as such only includes one class, The Wizard. The Wizard will gain different spells from many of the items he loots and you will be able to customize the loot you earn by enchanting them with different attributes.

Ultimately, with this, smaller developers get vital exposure for their games and you get to have more games to play on your plate. Plenty of people are waiting patiently for Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition to finally be released onto Android and it looks like those people are going to have to wait a bit longer. Unfortunately Overhaul Games has encountered some new issues which is causing the delay of the game’s release.
Back in November 2012 we talked about a new game coming from Fox Digital Entertainment who has teamed up with Angry Mob Games that would be a new addition to the Predator and Aliens franchises. Having already released an official Predator game, this new title is called AVP: Evolution and will let players take part in the Aliens vs Predator universe from both perspectives.
We’ve talked numerous times in the past how Epic and their games division have not released, nor ever had plans to release, anything on Google Play. It’s been a topic of conversation here on the site plenty of times and how we have always felt that it is stupid that they don’t release anything for Android, only iOS. So imagine our surprise when we got a tip saying that Epic Citadel was now available on Google Play.
You might recognize the name Asobimo and that could very well be because we’ve talked about this company and some of their games in the past such as Celes Arca and Iruna Online, both of which are MMORPGs for mobile. Their newest game that is currently in a limited open beta phase right now is called Avabel Online and is also a rather impressive looking cross-platform MMORPG.
Radiation leak at a nuclear power plant? Your next door neighbor acting odd and eating brains? Well now you can take care of this sort of thing by grabbing your guns and taking out the trash in this new side-scrolling, zombie filled shooter from Triniti Interactive called Call of Mini: Brawlers.
