We’ve been hearing a lot over the past few months about nVidia’s quad-core chipset, originally codenamed Kal-El. Today nVidia is officially announcing this chipset which is officially called Tegra 3. If you’ve read our previous articles regarding anything related to this, you should be excited.
Last week we showed everyone how to play Shadowgun on an SGSII and an Asus Transformer using a Playstation controller and Sixaxis. Now we can show you how to use DroidMote to convert your Android phone into a game pad and use it to play Shadowgun on a tablet, in this case again on a Asus Transformer.
When it comes to gaming, at least in the PC gaming world, it’s always nice to have the latest and greatest hardware. To a degree this holds true to Android as well considering there is a lot of similarities between the two. Android gamers who like to upgrade won’t have to wait long for that quad-core devices you’ve been wanting.
So to celebrate the release of Shadowgun from Madfinger Games, and also the fact it was my birthday yesterday, we are teaming up with nVidia to give out another Power Pack prize package only this time we are packing it with an Asus Transformer and some other goodies for you to get some serious gaming done.
Asus already has a couple of hits under their belts in the short time they have been in the tablet game and it looks like they are planning to ride that wave with some high-end hardware for their next batch of tablets. With one being dual-core and another sporting a Qualcomm chip coming out in the next month or two.
