Back in June we mentioned that Sega had come on board in regards to bringing their blue hedgehog over to the Android-powered game console Ouya. Well two of their games have finally arrived today: Sonic 4 Episode I and Episode II. Sonic CD is currently coming down the pipeline as well and should be arriving in the near future.

Sega is putting up a few of their games for sale to celebrate the holiday season as well. This time, however, instead of iOS getting a bunch of games on sale and Android only getting one or two, Android has five games actually on sale by Sega. If you happen to be a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog games, you’ll be happy to know they are all on sale right now.
What probably seemed like too long of a wait for anyone owning a non-Tegra based Android device, Sega has finally decided to reward your patience by releasing Sonic 4 Episode II onto the Google Play store for all Android devices. You can now download the second and final episode of the Sonic 4 series.

Sega has just posted a new teaser video for their upcoming Sonic 4 Episode II game which will be heading to a plethora of platforms over the next couple of months. In this video it shows the new ‘Episode Metal’ which can only be obtained in one way.
While we are all eagerly awaiting the next addition to the Sonic franchise to land on Android, some rather possible sad news is coming to light about the franchise’s future. According to an interview with the Sonic Team’s producer Takashi Iizuka, Sega currently has no plans for an Episode III.
Another game we got to get some serious face time with was Sega’s upcoming Sonic 4 Episode II title for quad-core Android devices. Aside from being able to get a good idea of how the game looks and plays, there is also a rumored release date floating around right now as well although no official confirmation of this date has been given.
We all know how you enjoy being teased by us with games that are not released yet but on their way. With Sonic 4 Episode I having recently been released onto Android, it brings us great pleasure to tease you with the next installment into the series, Episode II.
