More details about Sonic 4 Episode II including release times, non-Tegra version and unlocking “Episode Metal”

Sega has just posted a new teaser video for their upcoming Sonic 4 Episode II game which will be heading to a plethora of platforms over the next couple of months. In this video it shows the new ‘Episode Metal’ which can only be obtained in one way.

If you happen to own both Sonic 4 Episode I and Sonic 4 Episode II on the same device, you will be able to unlock and play this new ‘Episode Metal’ as it is called. In the video below you can get a good taste of what is in store for you when playing this episode.

The video below also lets out the release time frames for Sonic 4 Episode II including the Android releases. We already know that Sonic 4 Episode II will be coming to Tegra-base devices at some point in May 2012, something we’ve reported on before. However, we now know that the version for devices without a Tegra-based chipset is also on the way and will be released in June 2012. All of this is confirmed near the end of the new teaser video above.
