Rovio, makers of all things avian and angry, have released a new game into the Angry Birds franchise called Angry Birds Action! The game is currently being rolled out softly in a few select regions, so I haven’t had the opportunity to try it out yet. That being said, the game fits the mold of prior releases, where players will pull back on Red, and then let him loose to bounce around a variety of outdoor structures (sound familiar yet?), to see what can be taken down.
Released by Csharks Games and Solutions Pvt Ltd, Adventure Jack is a new adventure game for the Android platform. In this game, players will be assuming the eponymous role of Jack, who was piloting a plane that experienced engine failure, forcing him to crash land in the jungle.
If you’re a fan of old school style of platformers, such as Super Mario Bros and other similar games, then there’s a bit of good news for you today. One of the games we checked out at GDC this year was a game called Super Phantom Cat, which takes a lot of inspiration from some of the classic platformers to have ever been released, but has a bit of a unique visual look to it.
Released by Pebble Games, World of Dots is a new puzzler that’s available for the Android Platform. Set in a world where all the “dots” can now be rearranged, players will look to rebuild their world, which had fallen into chaos with its inhabitants turning on each other, and back in to one of order.
Blizzard has announced that the next expansion for their very popular TCG title Hearthstone will be arriving in about a week’s time. Officially dubbed Whispers of the Old Gods, this expansion will introduce 134 new cards into the mix, with some of the major hero cards focusing on… you guessed it… some of the old gods found within the lore of World of Warcraft.
Currently in a soft launch phase, Snail Games’ newest addition to the Taichi Panda franchise will see a worldwide official launch happening later this week. Taichi Panda Heroes is basically the sequel to the company’s first game, Taichi Panda. Both of these games are MMORPGs but both are actually quite different in a few ways.
Pocket Gems recently released their newest title onto Android called War Dragons and to celebrate the launch of this game, the fine folks over at Pocket Gems have teamed up with us here at DroidGamers to do a giveaway. If you’re not familiar with War Dragons, this is a new RTS game featuring 3D visuals, a lot of dragons, and big guns.
Dan Bilzerian – poker master and Instagram heavyweight – is now taking on the mobile world with Novasoft’s new game, Save Dan. In this game, players take on the role of a gunman watching over Dan Bilzerian, who is being swarmed by a horde of zombies. Players must take out the zombie horde before they reach Dan, who is dashing from beacon to beacon in an attempt to be rescued.
Indie developer I-splet has released their debut title called Cyberpandemic onto Android. This particular game is all about infecting all of the entire world’s computer systems before you’re stopped by one of the numerous government agencies and other groups. In other words, its all about the destruction of the modern world, similar to games like Plague Inc and Bio Inc.
Triniti Stars have released a new game onto Android called Survive Mr. Cube! which is all about an elderly man who gave Mr. Kobe a pill, which is took and made him lose conscience only to wake up in a strange new world with only his underwear on. This new place is a dark and depressing location he has never seen before and now he much survive long enough to escape it and return home.
