Every once in a while, a game comes along with a backstory that’s based on something that really intrigues me. Radiation Island is one such game, as it takes the urban legend of the Philadelphia Experiment, and uses that has a back drop. In this game, players assume the role of someone who ends up warping into an alternate (and somewhat unfriendly) dimension, due to the US Navy’s experimentation with cloaking their vessels.

Originally released onto consoles, Codemasters have brought their F1 racing simulation game, simply called F1 2016, over to Android devices. As you may be guessing from the name, you’ll be racing F1 cars in this particular racing title. However, this is a particularly big game, both in terms of content, and in terms of its actual size, weighing in at 2.6GB.

Released by Tomorrow Corporation, known for the likes of World of Goo and Little Inferno comes a sim management game dubbed Human Resource Machine, and it’s just been ported over to Android from Steam. In this game, players will be tasked with training programming workers to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
In other Telltale Games news, the upcoming Season 3 for The Walking Dead, called A New Frontier, has had its premier trailer released today for fans of the franchise to check out. The premier of this new season will actually go across two episodes instead of the usual single premier episode. What Telltale is planning to do, since this is a 2-part premier, is release two episodes on the same day when the new season launches.
Telltale Games has announced this morning a new series that will be making its way to all platforms in the near future. This new series will be based around the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise by Marvel, and will follow the company’s standard format for their adventure series with this one being an episodic adventure with five episodes planned.

HeroCraft has announced that they will be releasing their next game, called Spaceship Battles, onto Android by the end of October. This particular game falls into the MOBA category pretty nicely, with players needing to design their ships before battle testing their designs against other players. HeroCraft will be publishing this game for Epic Owl, who are the developers and made up of former Rovio team members.
It has been a bit of a wait for the game’s arrival, but Samorost 3 has finally arrived onto Android today. Originally we reported on this game coming to Android a couple of times back in the first half of 2015, so it is finally good to see this game get released. This game was developed by Amanita Designs, who are responsible for Machinarium and Botanicula.

Kathy Rain is a detective game that’s been recently ported over from Steam. In this game, players assume the eponymous role of Kathy Rain, a journalism student who learns that her grandfather (a decorated war hero) has died under mysterious circumstances, which leads to her deeper into her own troubled past, as well as other questions: Why did a troubled young artist commit suicide?
Released by Clever Plays, Leap of Fate is a cyberpunk themed hack-n-slash of sorts, which has just been ported over to Android from Steam. In this game, players will control four heroes, from a bird’s eye view, who are hiding out in New York City. These mages will be gearing up to confront the Crucible of Fates, which is a proving ground for that uses the fears of the ‘technomages’ against them, in a Danger Room style.
