Freyr Games have released their second title onto Google Play called Bounty Hunter: Black Dawn. This particular FPS game isn’t just your pure first-person shooter but instead meshes into it plenty of RPG elements as well to create a Borderlands style type of games. Visually the game’s playable characters almost look like they could be from a Team Fortress game.

While this news isn’t 100% related to Android gaming directly, it does affect possible Android game developers who live in Canada and have been wanting to crowdfund a future game that they would like to work on. Today Kickstarter has announced that it will begin accepting Kickstarter campaigns based out of Canada later this Summer.

There is a new MMO for Android gamers to check out from a company called Free Thought Labs. The game is called City of Splendors and this is actually the company’s first English release onto Android. With that said, their English debut game is actually a pretty solid MMO for you to sink your time into.
Well some bad news for those of you who were looking forward to the imminent release of Plants vs Zombies 2. According to a tweet from the official Plants vs Zombies Twitter account, the game has been delayed with a new release date simply being “later this Summer”.
Nvidia has announced that there will be a short delay in the shipping of their Android-powered handheld gaming system Shield which was supposed to begin shipping out tomorrow. Instead Shield units will begin shipping out sometime in July. This also means the Shield won’t be officially going on sale to the public tomorrow either.
Chillingo are looking to expand their reach when it comes to Android gamers and have announced that, starting today, the company will begin releasing their games onto Playstation Mobile for those of you who own Playstation Certified devices and for those of you who happen to own a PS Vita. The first game which launches today is Feed Me Oil.

Well it looks like we now have an official release date for the upcoming Sprinkle sequel called Sprinkle Islands. This new game will bring more physics-based puzzle action along with it but with some new game mechanics as well.
Radiangames is keeping up their word of releasing one of their games each week until all their titles are available on Google Play. While Bombcats was originally slated for release on June 20th, Fireball Special Edition actually took its place that day instead. So this week we get Bombcats instead, providing us with the ability to use exploding cats to save kittens.
Last week we talked about a pretty decent sized update that Gameloft was gearing up to release for Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. The update even has an official name called Meltdown and features two new game modes to player against other people in, new weapons and other content to check out.
