One game we are eagerly waiting for is the release of Skillz: The DJ Game which is slated to be released soon for Android and iOS tablets. Yes this is one of the few games available designed for play on tablets only. Thanks to these new videos it confirms our suspicion: The game looks damn fun.
When it comes to brick breaking games, usually the view is that of your ‘paddle’ on the bottom of the screen with the bricks that need breaking located above you. At this point you would be hitting balls up to break the bricks. Aces 3D Brick Breaker takes this and puts it right in your face instead.
We got a great tip about a game coming to Android called Jelly Wars by Star Arcade. Following this tip netted us a slew of unreleased screenshots and the background story behind this fun looking strategy game where you have to defeat your opponent in head-to-head combat.

Gamelion has a few games out already on Android that happen to be quite popular such as Doodle Fit and I Must Run. Their newest game that just landed on the Android Market brings even more style to their line-up of titles in this black and white (and red) action game called Draw Slasher.
It has been awhile since we talked about this game by Southend but Desert Winds seems to be making the news again as more information has been released. Originally quickly previewed at CES 2011 and later we got to get a hands-on at GDC 2011, Desert Winds is a beautiful looking game.
FRAPS is a program for PC users that runs in the background and records, in real time, footage of whatever game you are playing so long as you hit whatever key you assigned to “record”. As an Android gaming site, we have to wonder, why has this not been created for mobile users?
Lot’s of talk seems to be happening about Gameloft’s temporarily exclusive title for the Xperia Play called Backstab or at least it seems that way lately. While there isn’t so much talk in this post about the game, there is a new video floating around, thanks to PocketGamer, of the first level of Backstab. It looks pretty good so far.
About a week and a half ago, just before the start of GDC 2011, we posted about a game called Desert Winds by Southend Interactive which was being demoed on the upcoming Qualcomm chipset featuring the new Adreno 220 GPU. This game looks like a mesh between Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider with awesome graphics.
