This year flew by at a blazing speed and it is still weird to sit and think that it is coming to a close in a day or so (depending on where you live). In the world of mobile gaming, a lot has happened in 2015. Virtual Reality has made a major comeback, there has been a lot of great mobile games released, and the industry as a whole is a lot stronger. Nintendo finally decided to get into the mobile game industry as well this year.
Another platform geared towards pre-launch registrations for Android games is now available on Google Play called EXP Game. Similar to Prelaunch.me, EXP Game allows users to browse through a variety of games that are currently in pre-registration status before it officially launches on Google Play.
Even though Christmas is over, the holiday season is not. Over the Christmas break Softmax decided to globally launch their popular beat ’em up style game called TrainCrasher. Originally released over in Korea, and possibly other Asian markets, this game received an English version that was soft launched back in November of this year. Now anyone can snag a copy of this anime themed arcade game off of Google Play.
Strike Suit Zero is a space sim that is released by Born Ready Games. Being a fan of this genre, it was one I was looking to sink my teeth into, and I went into the game with moderate to high expectation. Let’s see how the game actually played.
Climb the ranks of your own criminal empire in Real City Gangsters 2, now available on Google Play
Released by Wold Rabbit Games, Real City Gangster 2 is now out on Google Play. Players assume the role of a criminal who has been released from jail for lack of evidence, then promptly returns to a life of crime. Players will seek to increase their Gangster Rating by committing as many crimes as possible while evading capture by police.
CatfishBlues Games released a racing game earlier this month called Rocket Racer. After only being out for a couple of weeks, the developers have pushed out a new update that brings with it a couple of much needed features, namely Android TV support and hardware controller support.
Cat Nigiri has released their fourth game for Android called Kitty Kitchen which is a blend of two other games, the old school Snake game and the new school puzzle game 2048. The goal in this game is to successfully feed three ‘super cute’ kittens placed around a square space filled board.
Every year we all have hopes and dreams of getting that one (or two) present we have been wanting for awhile. Whether it is the latest and greatest Android device to hit the market, a new laptop or PC, gaming console, or whatever, Christmas is the time that those hopes and dream usually come true.
