Fans of MMORPGs have a new game to look forward to on Android soon called Pocket Guild from indie developers Sad Herring. Unlike other MMORPGs though, this one is a single-player game. How does that work? Mainly by making this game basically an MMORPG simulator of sorts. All of the content you would find in an MMORPG is here, except you’re the only actual real live player in the game.
Released by AppyNation, One Clue Crossword is a new puzzler available for Android. The game contains over 150 puzzles that are spread out over ten different chapters, and an assurance of more to time in future updates. What makes this game somewhat unique is how the clues are delivered.
One game that has survived generations of advancement in technology and in the gaming industry as a whole is Tetris. The simple arcade puzzler of falling blocks is always fun to kill some time with. Released by Nisuboy, Bounce Sir is a new endless “bouncer” that’s been released on to the Android platform. Players will follow the journey of Sir, a little orange ball with a mustache. What players will do is, using a swipe gesture on the screen, trace out a short line that Sir will bounce on top of (a la Doodle Jump), only it’s up to the player to determine its size and angle.
TinyCo and Marvel have teamed up for a new mobile game based around the Avengers called Marvel Avengers Academy. In this game players will be building their own Super Hero school and guiding the paths of world-famous characters. These characters aren’t adults, but complex young adults who are grappling with newly emerging powers while trying to maintain social lives.
Square Enix has been talking about release a remake for the original Mana game throughout the later part of last year on and off. Depending on where you live, you’ll know this game under a different name, such as with North America it is known as Final Fantasy Adventure. Well Square Enix released a new teaser trailer for this game the other day along with the news that it will be launching worldwide this Thursday.
Released by DynamicDust, Amaze is a new maze game for Android. Within this game, players will seek to navigate their way through a complex maze, comprised of glass walls. In an added twist, there is a ghostly “enemy” of sorts that is in pursuit of the player.
