We have been reporting for awhile on a tactics-style strategy game that comes with cross-platform multiplayer called Hero Mages from D20Studios. This game has been out for awhile in a browser version and was slated for release onto Android. Well the good news is that it’s now available and we’ve got some goodies to give away to help celebrate it’s launch.
Sega has teamed up with Papaya Mobile to bring their free-to-play RPG to Android called Fallen Realms. This is a more old school style RPG title that will feature a tapping control scheme instead of the usually virtual joystick so that you can just tap to go places instead of using the joystick.
Developers who have been waiting for the Ice Cream Sandwich source code to be released may not have to wait much longer to get their hands on it. According to the CEO of Notion Ink, Rohan Shravan, the source code is planned for a release date of November 17th.
Lenovo has apparently had their upcoming Tegra 3 quad-core tablet specs leaked today and so far they are looking pretty serious in terms of power. This new Lenovo tablet will be running the latest version of Android called Ice Cream Sandwich and will be stuffed with a Tegra 3 quad-core chipset.
If you haven’t been lured into the time sink pit known as Kairosoft and their games you may finally be enticed to nab on of their awesome sim games now that they have randomly put them on sale on the Android Market. A total of four games are now on sale for a limited time.
Fishlabs Entertainment’s rather awesome space shooter/RPG called Galaxy on Fire 2 is now available exclusively on the Xperia Play. Currently the original Galaxy on Fire 2 was strictly a Tegra 2 game but the crew at Fishlab’s has released it now for the Xperia Play but that’s not all! It’s also free!
A few weeks ago we talked about a demo that was available on the Android Market for a point-and-click adventure game called Fragment 3D: Suspicion. The demo, which is really more of a prologue really, is about a robot named Fragment who was tossed out into the underworld and left to rust and die away as scrape metal.
While we wait for the Tegra 2 version of Siegecraft THD to arrive this month, Blowfish Studios have announced that they will also be releasing an enhanced version of the game for quad-core Tegra 3 devices in the near future.
You may or may not remember about a week and a half ago we talked about a game called Cut The Birds which was a blatant rip off of Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja. We mentioned in that article that we may do a Clone of the Week type of series and so we have decided to do just that. Today’s clone is called Crazy Garage.
