One of the games heading our way that we are looking forward to is a Limbo style platformer called LAD which we talked about back in the later part of May 2012. Black Chair Games has decided to release another preview video in order to show of LAD just a little bit more while we wait for its release.
Not too long ago Crescent Moon Games announced that they would finally be bringing their games over to Android and started it all off with their release of Aralon: Sword and Shadow earlier this month. Their second title, Paper Monsters, is also now available on the Amazon AppStore.
Sketchy Ventures. The name may not be familiar yet, but might soon be. They just released their very first game onto Google Play, and it’ll get fans of puzzle and fast-paced platform games interested perked up. Amazing Brok starts with a somewhat unexpected main character, but will have you coming back to him once you get the difficulty down of going through each and every level.
In a game, controls are one of the most important aspects. Controls are what can make a game great and they are also what can completely break a game. One of the hardest parts of designing a mobile game is trying to find and implement controls that really work with, not against, the platform and game your working with.
Oscura is a minimalist platform-slash-adventure game, where you play as Oscura, a creature who’s entrusted with the responsibility of preserving light on an island. However, the lighthouse’s power crystal explodes, and you now have to collect light shards to restore light to the island.
Another company has put a sale up for the July 4th celebration and that is Sega with their Super Monkey Ball 2: Sakura Edition game for Android. Unfortunately that is the only game that Sega has put on sale but if you don’t have this game yet, there you go.
OrangePixel’s rather excellent arcade platformer game called INC: The Beginning has had a new full version released onto the Google Play store but for the great new price of free. Currently INC: The Beginning has only been available in a paid version for around $2.63.
What probably seemed like too long of a wait for anyone owning a non-Tegra based Android device, Sega has finally decided to reward your patience by releasing Sonic 4 Episode II onto the Google Play store for all Android devices. You can now download the second and final episode of the Sonic 4 series.
Previously released onto iOS, To-Fu: The Trials of Chi has finally stretched across the proverbial mobile ocean and landed on the fresh lands of Android. In this rather unique puzzle platformer you will be playing as the stretchy To-Fu, helping him get through each stage of his undertaking of the infamous Trials of Chi.
Well here is something you don’t see every day and we are not talking about the fact that Killer Bean Unleashed is an action platformer for Android. We are, however, talking about the fact that there is a full length 85min movie about the theme in the game which you can purchase separately off of the developer’s site for $7.99 on sale right now. Regular price is $13.99 for the full length animated movie.
