Well here is something interesting as apparently Sega can’t make up their mind as to when they want to release Sonic CD apparently. First is was originally slated for December (this month) but then the other day they announced it would be delayed until early 2012. Well late last night they decided to release it onto the Android Market.
A little bit of bad news today for anyone waiting to get their hands on Sonic CD for Android without having to go but a tablet from GameStop. Unfortunately Sega has confirmed that it will be delayed until early 2012 for Android devices even though the iOS version is set to be released tomorrow.
Today on the Amazon App Store there is a free game today which is actually a really great deal because it is actually a bundle and not a single title. The Corona Indie Bundle is free today on the Amazon App store and comes with five good indie games in one package.
Back in the beginning of November Sega had announced that Sonic CD for Android would not be coming with support for the Xperia Play. It now appears that Sega has changed their minds and when Sonic CD is released onto the Android Market, it will support the Xperia Play controls.
We have already talked about this great classic retro game over the past couple of weeks a few times. Well the good news is, if you have been waiting to play Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk, then you’re in luck as it is now available on the Android Market for download.
Mass Creation has recently released a Wind-Up Knight style of game called Run Like Hell! on iOS and have let us know that the game is currently nearing completion of being ported over to Android. Similar to Wind-up Knight, this is a continuous running platformer where you have to slide, climb, jump and crawl your way to safety.
A couple of weeks ago we mentioned that the retro classic game, Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk, would be getting a facelift and making it’s way to Android and other mobile platforms soon. Well we now have an official trailer for Dizzy along with some new screenshots to show off.
If your idea of flinging a kitty around sounds like fun, then read on. Okay, not a real kitty, but a cool, cartoon-y graphically rendered kitty that you fling around while trying to avoid him from getting frozen, burned, and bashed into walls.
We already know that Sonic the Hedgehog from Sega is on the way to Android in December and, in fact, you can get an early copy if you happen to buy an Android tablet from GameStop as it comes pre-loaded on them. However, this new Sonic title came out of left field and is currently only available on the Japanese Android Market.
Over the past month or so we’ve been talking about the hit indie game from 2D Boy called World of Goo and that it would be coming to Android. In fact last week we mentioned that it would be arriving today and 2D Boy hasn’t disappointed us! World of Goo is now available on the Android Market.
